2019 Lincoln Nautilus interior features
If you’re not yet familiar with the Lincoln Nautilus nameplate but the vehicle itself looks familiar, it's probably because this is effectively a Lincoln MKX that's just undergone a mid-cycle refresh of its second-generation and got a new name into the bargain. The 2019 Lincoln Nautilus is a midsize, two-row, luxury SUV that's now more stylish and more technologically advanced than it was when it was still being called the Lincoln MKX.
As this is a luxury crossover with seating capacity for five people, it's the interior that probably matters most to a lot of potential buyers, so let's take a look at the interior features of the 2019 Lincoln Nautilus.
There really isn't any such thing as a basic Lincoln Nautilus, especially as the Standard trim level isn’t offered here in Canada. That means we have the Select and Reserve versions of the Lincoln Nautilus to choose from, so it's simply a case of just how well-equipped and how luxurious you want yours to be.
Standard interior features of the 2019 Lincoln Nautilus Select include dual-zone automatic climate control, ambient lighting, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a 12.3-inch LCD instrument cluster display screen, cruise control, remote keyless entry, remote start, active noise control, a rearview camera and a wireless charging pad.
Infotainment comes in the form of the Sync3 system that includes a single-CD player, 10-speakers with a subwoofer, two smart-charging ports, Sirius Satellite Radio, Bluetooth connectivity and audio streaming, voice-activated navigation and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
The seats are trimmed in Bridge of Weir Deepsoft leather, the front seats are heated and power-adjustable in 10 different ways with a memory function on the driver's side. The rear seat is a 60/40 split-folding bench with EasyFold seatback release.
Both trim levels come standard with blind-spot monitors, active lane control and forward-collision warnings and automatic emergency braking. This set of features can be further upgraded with features such as adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality and steering assist, but you will have to go to the Reserve trim for some of the most advanced safety features.
Standard interior features you get in the Reserve trim level that are not standard in the Lincoln Nautilus Select include a heated steering wheel, front-passenger sensing system, a premium Revel audio system, heated second-row outboard seats, ventilated front seats, and you also get the Lincoln Connect system with an embedded modem.
The Reserve doesn’t cost a huge amount more than the Select trim level, but it does open up a number of optional extras to you that are not available if you go for the Select. These include the likes of an enhanced park-assist feature, forward sensing system, a 360-degree camera, Distance Alert/Follow Distance Indication, and Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go and Lane Centering.
